Rich Gray
Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
A seasoned international business executive and experienced legal counsel, Rich has experience at NASDAQ and LSE public companies, a Silicon Valley start-up, and a private equity and pension fund owned company. As GlobalLogic’s SVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, Rich manages an in-house legal team, spread across four continents, from the company’s San Jose headquarters.
Rich’s business experience include card based and mobile payment, internet advertising and marketing, business analytics, mobile and private networks, applications testing, location tracking and navigation, and software engineering services.
Prior to joining GlobalLogic, Rich served as General Counsel for Spirent Communications, a U.K. headquartered telecommunications solutions provider; Trintech, an Ireland headquartered financial software provider; and Claria, a Silicon Valley Internet advertising and marketing company, where he was also Chief Privacy Officer.
Rich’s law firm experience includes extensive IP litigation including patent, trade secret, copyright, and trademark lawsuits; complex commercial, contract and employment litigation; successful termination of SEC and Justice Department investigations; and international arbitrations and mediations.
Rich has taught as an adjunct faculty member and guest speaker at universities in the Bay Area and Europe, and he has spoken at numerous seminars at legal conferences in the U.S. and U.K.
Rich graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Boston College and received his J.D. at Stanford Law School, where he won Best Brief and Best Oral Advocate awards. In his spare time, Rich enjoys traveling and attending music venues, discovering new red wines, reading, and watching classic and current movies.
