Rich Gray

SVP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, Globallogic

Rich Gray is a seasoned international business executive and experienced legal counsel. He spent the first half of his career in private practice as a litigator, primarily for Silicon Valley companies. His litigation experience includes patent, trade secret, copyright, and trademark lawsuits; complex commercial, contract and employment litigation; successful termination of SEC and Justice Department investigations; and international arbitrations and mediations.

More recently Rich has been a senior executive and General Counsel with experience at multinational public companies, a Silicon Valley start-up, and a private equity and pension fund owned company. In addition to his General Counsel role, he was also Chief Privacy Officer for a start-up that was one of the first companies to develop and fully deploy behavioral tracking tools for direct response display marketers. He has served as GC for companies in multiple industries including payment, internet advertising/marketing, business analytics, mobile and private networks, applications testing, location tracking and navigation, and software engineering services.

Rich is currently Senior Vice-President and General Counsel for GlobalLogic, Inc.  Based in GlobalLogic’s Silicon Valley headquarters, he leads a multinational 24 person legal team spread across four continents.

Rich has taught as an adjunct faculty member and guest speaker at U.S. and European universities, and has spoken at numerous seminars at legal conferences in the U.S. and U.K. Rich, a National Merit Scholar, graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Boston College and received his J.D. at Stanford Law School.
