Conference in Honor of Deborah R. Hensler
The goal of the conference is to honor and celebrate Professor Deborah R. Hensler’s prolific career as an influential and pioneering scholar of civil justice, alternative dispute resolution, complex litigation, comparative collective litigation, and empirical legal studies. The conference is also intended to recognize Deborah’s tremendous impact as a teacher and research advisor as well as her status as a trailblazer, who has, through her example, leadership, and mentorship, opened the door to so many other women in legal academia. The panels are centered around Deborah’s main areas of scholarship and teaching, and they feature some of her research collaborators and former students, prominent scholars in her fields of work, and former students.
