Biography
Ayelet Sela is a lecturer (assistant professor) at the Faculty of Law in Bar Ilan University, where she is also a founding member of the BIU LawData Lab. Dr. Sela is also a fellow at the Deborah L. Rhode Center on the Legal Profession at Stanford Law School. Her scholarship and teaching revolve around dispute system design, access to justice and procedural justice, particularly as they interface with digital technology. Her recent work explores how the justice system can best serve self-represented individuals in online court and tribunal proceedings through the use digital process design, AI tools, and adapted procedural rules.
