Tad J. Freese

Mr. Tad J. Freese represents a broad range of high technology companies, investment banks and other public and private companies in their corporate transactions. He is the Managing Partner of Latham’s Silicon Valley office and was previously a Vice Chair of Latham’s Global Corporate Department.
Mr. Freese’s practice centers on mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings and general corporate matters. His clients include Advanced Micro Devices, Extreme Networks, Cree, Intermolecular, Postmates, 8×8, Quantum Corporation and e.l.f. Beauty. He has represented a number of companies in their sales in recent years, including CH2M, Virgin America Airlines, XCerra, Pericom and Hortonworks.
Mr. Freese is a member of the State Bar of California and the American Bar Association. His educational qualifications include JD from Harvard University in 1994 and BS from University of California, Berkeley in 1991.
