Biography
James D. White is the Board Chair for The Honest Company (NASDAQ: HNST) and a Board Member at CAVA (NYSE: CAVA), Simply Good (NASDAQ: SMPL), Schnucks Markets, and Bay Club. He also sits on non-profit boards including Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP) and Directors Academy, serving as Chair. He advises Black Women on Boards and 50/50 Women on Boards.
James formerly led Jamba Juice as Chair, President, and CEO, transforming it into a global lifestyle brand. He has held senior roles at Safeway Stores, Inc., the Gillette Company, and Nestlé-Purina PetCare. In 2020, he founded Culture Design Lab Inc., focusing on transforming corporate culture and helping boards and executive teams operationalize diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies.
