Biography
Rashida Hodge is a technologist at the forefront of AI and emerging technologies changing how businesses operate. She leads technology innovation strategy, develops diverse teams, and orchestrates global technology transformations. She lays out blueprints for never-before-seen functions, and delivers complex technology solutions from research to commercialization, at scale. Rashida’s differentiated leadership approach is grounded in her ability to connect deeply with clients, and inspire innovation and new ways of thinking.
She is currently the Corporate Vice President, Azure Data and AI Customer Success at Microsoft, accelerating data-driven transformation for customers. Rashida is on the front lines as she leads consumption growth through a deep customer-centric, operationalization culture with repeatable execution engines accelerating growth and delivering value faster for customers. Prior to Microsoft, Rashida was Global Vice President at IBM, with more than 20 years of experience as a sales and services enterprise leader spanning leadership roles in hardware, software and services technologies.
With a Caribbean upbringing emphasizing community and mentorship, she fosters cultures of honesty and respect for her teams. Committed to nurturing next generation leaders, Rashida founded the NC State University Real Hope for NextGen Engineers Endowment in 2012. Her efforts have earned her recognition, including Fortune Magazine’s “40 under 40” in Technology and the NC Tech Women of the Year Award in 2021.
Rashida earned a BS and MS in Industrial Engineering at North Carolina State University and an MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of Business.
Rashida sits on the Boards of Sonatype, A Vista Equity Portfolio Company, North Carolina State University Board of Visitors, Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands and Girls, Inc.
