Biography
Eileen Schloss is a multidimensional, strategic and transformational human capital expert who has worked successfully and directly with CEOs and boards as a global chief human resources officer and for companies ranging from major global brands in the Fortune 500 to pre-IPO businesses needing to scale. She has a growth track record and is experienced in, advising, mentoring and guiding HR strategy and operational elements of acquisitions from due diligence through full integration and divestitures.
Prior to retirement, Schloss spent 4 years as the CHRO of Medidata, where she helped grow the company from $260M in revenue to ~$500M accelerating value creation by aligning strategy with organizational design, assessing and developing leadership and top grading the leadership team, resulting in their acquisition by Dassault valued at ~$6B.
She serves on the CCC IS Board of Directors and Chairs the Human Capital Compensation Committee. On the Sprinklr Board of Directors she serves as the Lead Independent Director, Chairs the Nomination/Governance Committee and serves on the Compensation Committee. She previously served on the Alteryx Board of Directors, Chairing the Compensation Committee and serving on the Nomination/Governance Committee.
As an independent advisor, Schloss works with CEOs and HR leaders to accelerate value creation across Advent’s portfolio by assisting and advising business leaders on organizational implications and challenges through due diligence and various growth cycles. Aligning strategy with organizational design, assessing and developing leadership and enhancing human resources practices are areas of key focus.
Prior to Medidata, Schloss spent five years with Rovi Corp., (now Tivo) a publicly traded digital media entertainment software and services company, where she managed all workforce and human resources activity. During her time with Rovi she managed 19 acquisitions or divestitures and focused on the cultural integration of each. Schloss held the top HR position for the prior 17 years, including Caspian Networks, Exodus Communications, AppGenesys, and Apple Computer. In these roles, she reported directly to CEO’s and President’s and served as their trusted advisor and coach helping them transform their companies to achieve their mission and growth objectives.
Schloss received her MS in Technology Management from Pepperdine University and a BS in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco. She has earned the Governance Fellow status and Directorship Certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and was awarded the NACD Directorship 100 in 2022.
