Sonya Park is responsible for managing existing SSGA client relationships and driving new business development in the western United States. Prior to joining State Street Global Advisors in 2011, Park was a vice president at Dimensional Fund Advisors in the institutional sales and services group. Prior to Dimensional Fund Advisors, Park was an associate director at Watson Pharmaceuticals. Park has also worked at Lehman Brothers as an equity research analyst and began her career at SEI Corporation.
Park earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration from the New York University Stern School of Business and has been working in the financial services industry since 1993. Park holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Series 7 and 63 registrations. Park also holds the National Futures Association Series 3 registration and is an associated person of SSGA Funds Management, Inc., a commodity trading advisor registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
