
Harry Surden is a Professor of Law at the University of Colorado, and Affiliated Faculty at Stanford University’s CodeX Center, and one of the CodeX center’s original founders. Professor Surden is one of the leading scholars of artificial intelligence and law, and his scholarship in this area is influential. He is the creator of Computable Contracts, and his articles “Structural Rights in Privacy”, “Machine Learning and Law”, and “Artificial and Law: An Overview” have been widely cited. Professor Surden worked as a professional software engineer at Cisco Systems, and Bloomberg L.P., prior to entering legal academia. He is a graduate of Cornell University and Stanford University, both with honors.
