Biography
John Nay is the Founder and CEO of Norm Ai, the Legal & Compliance AI company. He has more than a decade of research experience at the intersection of AI and law, most recently at Stanford. As a Ph.D. student at Vanderbilt University, he conducted AI research funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation. He was then a Postdoc at NYU and Affiliate at Harvard. As an Adjunct Professor, John created the first AI course at the NYU School of Law. He has published research articles on AI and AI policy in leading technical journals and law reviews. John was also the founding CEO of Brooklyn Artificial Intelligence, Inc., an AI-powered investment software platform with an SEC Registered Investment Adviser subsidiary that manages billions of dollars. Brooklyn was recently acquired by TIAA Nuveen, a global asset manager with $1.3 trillion in assets under management.
