Melinda S. Molina

Biography

Professor Melinda S. Molina is an associate professor at Capital University Law School. Her scholarship addresses how the law impacts subordinate and marginalized groups in the United States. She is a co-author of two comprehensive studies on Latinas in the legal profession: National Study on the Status of Latinas in the Legal Profession and Few and Far Between and La Voz de la Abogada Latina: Challenges and Rewards in Serving the Public Interest Sector. Professor Molina served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs from 2017-2021. She also served as the Director of Academic Success from 2016-2017. At Capital, she teaches Torts I & II, Integrated Core Competencies, Latinx & Law Seminar and within the Academic Success Program (summer program). Before joining academia, Professor Molina was a litigation associate in the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
