Paul began his legal career at an IP boutique where he focused mainly on drafting and prosecuting patent applications. After 7 years in private practice, he joined Ancestry.com as its Director of IP. In this role, Paul is responsible for the strategic development and maintenance of diverse intellectual property portfolios encompassing various technologies and brands. He also provides transactional support and business-focused legal counsel to the departments and leadership behind the AncestryDNA products and services.
