Biography
Ishna has been in the IP space since 2006. She joined Google in 2014 and serves as Senior Patent Counsel for the AR/VR, Chrome Browser, and Operating System teams. In this role, she manages global patent portfolios and advises on IP issues around commercial agreements, technical standards, licensing and risk mitigation. Prior to joining Google, Ishna was an associate at both large general practice and boutique law firms. She has M.Eng. and B.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and obtained her JD from Suffolk University Law School while working full time. In her free time, she enjoys reading, working out, and being ordered around by her two daughters.
