Biography
Mitchell is an assistant professor in the federated department of history at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and Rutgers Newark. She is also a member of the graduate faculty at the University of Toronto Centre for Criminology & Sociolegal studies. Her first book, *Unsettling Sovereignty: International Law, Nuclear Weapons, & US Extraterritorial Power in Postwar Oceania* will be published by the University of Chicago Press in October of 2026.
