Patrick Ntchobo

Biography

PATRICK NTCHOBO is a Partner at Edelson PC. Patrick’s practice focuses on trial advocacy before judges, juries, and arbitrators nationwide in high-stakes cases—often of first impression—on behalf of victims of corporate wrongdoing and governmental entities. Patrick is a key member of the trial team, including as first chair, in a series of trials that have won more than $1 billion in in verdicts and judgments to date against an Oregon utility. Patrick has significant experience in all stages of the trial process, from taking and defending key depositions to selecting juries, presenting opening and closing statements, and presenting and cross-examining key witnesses. Through his pro bono appellate practice, he also represents immigrants facing deportation and people facing criminal prosecution.

Prior to joining Edelson PC, Patrick clerked for Judge Haywood S. Gilliam Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and Judge Gabriel P. Sanchez of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He began his career in Texas state politics, where he served as a legislative director and communications aide for multiple state representatives.
