Biography
Dr. Hollis Robbins is Dean of Humanities at University of Utah and writes and speaks regularly on the role of university leaders and administrators in ensuring academic freedom and free speech on campus. As a scholar, Robbins is the author or co-editor of six books on nineteenth century American and African American literature and the Black Press. Robbins holds a Ph.D. in English from Princeton University; an M.P.P. from Harvard Kennedy School of Government; and a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University.
