Biography
Dr. Aubrey Davis is an Assistant Professor of Law at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). He serves as the Director of Law and Emerging Technology for USAFA’s Law, Technology, and Warfare Research Cell (LTWRC); an entity dedicated to generating scholarship, educating, and serving as a focal point to address the Department of the Air Force’s strategic questions relative to law, technology and warfare. Dr. Davis teaches in USAFA’s Department of Law focusing on international law, space, cyberspace, and emerging technology curricula. His research interests are the impacts that emerging technology will have on law and ethics with particular focus on quantum information sciences, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology. He is a retired United States Air Force Lieutenant Colonel. Prof. Davis served as a Pilot, Intelligence Officer, and as a Judge Advocate. He finished his active-duty career as the Chief, Cyberspace Law at Air Combat Command, Langley AFB, VA where he served as an advisor to the Air Force’s operational cyberspace wing legal offices and their functional components to the Intelligence Community.
