Vasyl Rakivnenko

Biography

Vasyl Rakivnenko is the AI Technical Lead at the Stanford Law School’s Legal Design Lab, where he focuses on building and applying artificial intelligence systems to improve access to justice. He is a technology entrepreneur and applied AI researcher with experience developing and integrating AI-powered enterprise solutions across startups, venture firms, and publicly traded companies. Since 2020, he has led strategic AI initiatives recognized by Forbes Poland for their impact on digital innovation.

Vasyl collaborates with Stanford faculty on research at the intersection of AI, economics, and decision-making, and has shared his work as a guest speaker at Stanford Graduate School of Business, the University of Nevada Las Vegas, the Zurich University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons, and Silicon Valley Google Developer Groups.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Mondragon in Spain (Basque Country), an MBA from Kozminski University in Warsaw, Poland, and is an alumnus of the Stanford Graduate School of Business, having completed the Stanford Executive Program in 2023. His work bridges technical execution with strategic impact, aligned with the Lab’s mission to make legal systems more human-centered and effective.
