Biography
Ashley Oborn is the Director of Data Analytics at Lone Star Legal Aid, leading the organization’s AI and data strategy initiatives. As Project Director of LSLA’s AI Chatbot Project, she conceived and leads the development of multiple AI-powered chatbots — work featured as a case study by JusticeBench, LSC, and the Thomson Reuters Institute/National Center for State Courts AI Consortium. Serving on the Texas Access to Justice Commission’s Technology Committee, she co-authored statewide AI best practices and policy guidance. Ashley has presented extensively on AI in legal services at major conferences and to various legal aid and academic communities.
