Biography
John Jeffcott is the IT Director at Maryland Legal Aid, where he leads the organization’s digital transformation and modernization efforts. A technologist with a background in law, John bridges legal services and emerging technology to improve access to justice and operational efficiency. His work spans cybersecurity, business intelligence, and process automation—driven by a belief that innovation should serve people, not just systems.
A graduate of Columbia Law School and the University of Maryland, College Park, John’s career has ranged from tending bar to managing IT contractors for the Department of Defense. Outside of work, John is an enthusiastic, fair-weather cyclist.
