Biography
Yuri Kim is a founding Principal at NextLadder Ventures, where he invests in tech-enabled solutions that advance economic mobility for low-income families, including AI applications in benefits navigation and access to justice.
Prior to NextLadder, Yuri was a Senior Program Officer at the Gates Foundation where he oversaw a portfolio focused on improving access to safety net benefits and supported the launch of an AI innovation fund for benefits solutions. Earlier, Yuri led one of the nation’s largest Volunteer Income Tax Assistance programs and created programs that expanded school nutrition access at the United Way of King County.
