Luis Villa

Luis is a solo practitioner focused on tech transactions and open source, with clients including Fortune 100 companies, unicorns, small startups, and non-profits. Before going solo, he led the drafting of version 2.0 of the Mozilla Public License, was Deputy General Counsel at the Wikimedia Foundation, and did tech trans and worked on the Google-Oracle case for Greenberg Traurig. In a prior life, Luis was a QA engineer and manager at a Linux desktop startup that was acquired by Novell.
