Ben Glatstein is an Assistant General Counsel in the Cloud + Artificial Intelligence legal support team at Microsoft, where he and his team provide support to Microsoft’s business applications engineering group, including Azure Data, Power BI, Dynamics 365, and mixed reality applications. Ben’s clients create cutting-edge solutions, including a wide range of enterprise AI apps and services for everything from in-store cameras to data storage & analysis. Ben previously led legal support for the AI & Research group’s core AI engineering team, and Microsoft’s Copyright legal team.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Ben was a litigator with Irell & Manella LLP, in Los Angeles, where he represented entertainment and technology companies in a variety of matters. Ben clerked on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for the Hon. Diarmuid F. O’Scannlain and graduated with honors and Order of the Coif from the University of Chicago.

Ben has taught Advanced Copyright Law at the University of Washington Law School and has taught Copyright at Seattle University.
