Dave Pilson is the Vice President, Head of Total Rewards at Upwork Inc. His team is responsible for all aspects of compensation, benefits, equity, HRIS, and HR operations. Diversity and inclusion is a passion for Dave. Dave founded the Law in Technology Diversity Collaborative – a unique opportunity for diverse first year law students to immerse themselves in the inner workings of a technology company and to experience first-hand, complex legal, regulatory, and public policy issues.
Prior to Upwork, Dave was the Senior Director of Global Compensation, Benefits, & Equity Compliance at eBay Inc. where he led executive compensation, employee benefit, equity compliance, and stock administration. He also worked as an FP&A analyst at ConocoPhillips prior to law school. Dave holds a degree in Economics from Stanford University and a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. He resides in Houston, Texas where he was born and raised.
