Directors' College 2020
It is with great regret that we have decided to cancel Stanford Directors’ College 2020. As we monitor the latest guidance, best practices, and directives from Stanford University and local health agencies, we cannot envision a scenario in which we can responsibly host this year’s program in a manner that protects the health and safety of attendees, speakers, and staff, while delivering an experience consistent with the level of quality that we have established for more than 25 years.
Although we do not plan to provide a virtual conference in place of Directors’ College this year, we will create some exceptional online content addressing the unique challenges that board members face in the current environment. Among the topics we plan to explore are: Crisis Management in the Age of COVID-19; Executive Compensation During the COVID-19 Crisis; Human Capital Management and the Board; and Hot Topics for Boards in 2020. We will email you to let you know as soon as this content is available.
We deeply regret any inconvenience this cancellation may cause, and we hope you can join us next June for Directors’ College 2021. In the meantime, we will be in touch regarding our online content. If you have questions, please direct them to rockprograms@law.stanford.edu.
