Jennifer Kennedy Park is a Partner at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in the Bay Area office, focusing on white-collar defense, enforcement actions, crisis management, and complex disputes. Jennifer advises global corporations on interactions with regulators and authorities around the world and has been involved with some of the highest profile enforcement matters within the past few years, including her appointment by the New York Attorney General to conduct an independent investigation into allegations of harassment by then-Governor Andrew Cuomo resulting in a report called a “blueprint” for investigations. She also represented Vale S.A., one of the world’s largest producers of iron ore, in the first lawsuit brought by the SEC’s ESG Taskforce alleging false statements in violation of 10(b) related to the safety of dams after the collapse of a dam. Jennifer has handled some of the most complicated matters affecting corporate entities, including Robert Bosch in connection with investigations and multi-district consumer class action litigation relating to the multibillion-dollar Volkswagen emissions issues, including undertaking a full-scale compliance remediation program. She recently helped HSBC navigate and resolve its off-channel communications matters with the SEC and CFTC. In addition, Jennifer is currently handling a number of crypto-related matters including representing a major venture capital firm in multi-district lawsuits related to the FTX collapse.
In her matters, Jennifer routinely advises and reports to boards. She has been globally and nationally recognized by Chambers and Benchmark Litigation and has been named to the “World’s Top 100 Women in Investigations” list by Global Investigations Review.
