Matt Gorham joined PwC after serving over 25 years in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). His last FBI role was as the assistant director of the FBI’s Cyber Division. There, he led all of the FBI’s national security and criminal cyber investigations as well as the development and implementation of a new cyber strategy. Matt regularly engaged with his inter-agency partners in the law enforcement, intelligence, and defense communities as well as policymakers. He brings a unique and current perspective on how governments both in the United States and around the world are dealing with the cyber threat. His experience spans all FBI investigative and response programs. Another assignment was as the deputy assistant director of the FBI’s Critical Incident Response Group where he led all FBI response assets including crisis management, crisis negotiations and organizations such as the Hostage Rescue Team and the Behavioral Analysis Unit profilers. His experience leading numerous national critical incidents brings a unique lens to responding to critical incidents.
