Peter da Silva Vint is a Director in the M&A group with a focus on ESG advisory and activism defense at Barclays PLC. He is responsible for advising public company boards and management teams on corporate governance, ESG and activism matters.
Previously, Peter worked on BlackRock’s Investment stewardship team and was responsible for engaging with boards and management on special situations, strategy and long-term ESG investment themes. He also held roles at Moelis & Company, J.P. Morgan and Linklaters.
Peter is an advocate for advancing diversity on public company boards and as an expert on governance, he has spoken on panels at Harvard Business School and Stanford Law School and has partnered with legal and search firms to train public company directors. Peter is a supporter of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy.
Born in Portugal, Peter holds dual E.U. and U.S. nationalities and is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English and conversational in Italian. Peter received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech, J.D.from the University of Michigan Law School and an MBA from Yale School of Management.
