Facial recognition development and use has been exponentially rising in both the private and public sector. It is heralded by some as the ultimate crime fighting tool and admonished by others as the end of privacy. This talk will examine both views and identify the legal, technical, and regulatory considerations required for the safe deployment of this technology.
