Stanford Law School, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, California, is a nationally and internationally leading law school. Its Program in Law, Science & Technology (LST) has been ranked regularly among the top three intellectual property law programs by U.S. News & World Report in the previous years. The Law, Science & Technology Program has a long-standing tradition of sharing its expertise in IP and tech law with lawyers from around the world. In an effort to further promote the understanding of the world’s IP law regimes, Stanford Law School has established an intensive one-week certificate program on U.S. IP law for international lawyers. Participants can choose, if they wish to participate in the summer program in-person on Stanford campus or if they prefer to follow all lectures via livestream.
The summer program will provide a broad foundation in U.S. IP law with specific attention to high-tech IP issues. It will focus on the fundamental concepts of U.S. IP law and give practical insights into Silicon Valley’s high-tech industry. You will learn from Stanford’s world-renowned professors and Silicon Valley’s leading practitioners. Learn from their experience and expertise!

Summer program participants will receive a Stanford Law School Program Certificate.
The State Bar of California has approved this program for 19.5 MCLE credits. Certification from other states may be sought; however, approved hours may vary. Contact your local bar for more information.
