Colette Vogele

Senior Attorney, Microsoft Corporation

Colette Vogele is a Senior Attorney at Microsoft focusing on privacy, data use, intellectual property and compliance issues. Prior roles at Microsoft include Microsoft’s Director of IP Policy for the EMEA region (Brussels), and senior copyright counsel. Colette is also the co-founder of WithoutMyConsent.org, a U.S. non-profit organization building paths to justice for individuals facing online privacy and harassment violations, and is a former Fellow of Stanford’s Center for Internet & Society. She earned her JD with honors from George Washington University, and BA with honors in Political Science from the University of Washington. While a native of the Pacific Northwest, before joining Microsoft Colette practiced law in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California, for many years.
