Mary Huser, JD ’88

Deputy General Counsel for the Risk & Regulatory group, Airbnb

Prior to Airbnb, Mary was the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary at Poly (f/k/a Plantronics). Before that, she served in various global Deputy General Counsel roles at BlackBerry, McKesson and eBay and was a partner, practice group leader and Silicon Valley office managing partner with the law firm of Bingham McCutchen.

Mary, a recipient of the Business Insider Top 100 Women and Business Journal Women of Influence awards, has served as an advisory board member for Stanford Law and Technology, a board member of Women in Law Empowerment Forum, a member of the California Bar Judicial Nominations and Evaluation Committee, President and Board member of the Hillsborough City School District Board of Trustees and co-founder of the Silicon Valley Executive Women’s Roundtable.

Mary received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a JD from Stanford Law School. She was born in Milwaukee and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and lives in Hillsborough with her spouse of 30 years, Dave Cairo. Mary and Dave have 3 daughters and 2 dogs (a yellow lab and a golden retriever pandemic puppy).
