Morvarid Metanat is Associate General Counsel, Product at Meta Platforms, Inc. where she and her team provide legal support to the Artificial Intelligence, Responsible Innovation, and New Product Experimentation teams. Prior to joining Meta, Morvarid was Corporate Counsel & Director of Business Affairs at Pandora where she oversaw the company’s royalty rate court proceedings and copyright litigation. Before going in house, Morvarid was a managing associate at Orrick, Herrington, and Sutcliffe LLP where she practiced intellectual property litigation. Morvarid is a graduate of UCLA Law School and the University of California, San Diego.
