US ESG Leader, PwC
As PwC’s US ESG Leader, Casey Herman leads a firmwide, cross functional team that assists companies with important ESG and sustainability matters. The work spans from accurately reporting ESG data and progress to designing and implementing sustainable business strategies. In addition, he has more than 35 years of experience serving energy and utility companies and leading the external audits of numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Casey is a member of the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business Advisory Board, the Edison Electric Institute’s (EEI) Wall Street Advisory Group, the Electric Power Research Institute’s (EPRI) Advisory Council and the Tulane Energy Institute. He has also had the opportunity to speak at industry events for organizations such as EEI, American Gas Association, National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners as well as the Staffs of the Financial Accounting Standards Board, International Accounting Standards Board and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Casey is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, with an emphasis in accounting and economics. He’s a passionate supporter of hunger relief causes and he has served on the boards of hunger relief charities on the national, regional and local levels. He currently lives in Chicago and cheers on the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks.
