Biography
Jerrold is an Assistant Professor at the Singapore Management University School of Law and Deputy Director of its Centre for Computational Law. He got into web development in 2010 during his mandatory military service. While studying law and economics at the National University of Singapore, he co-founded a legal analytics startup that later worked with the Singapore state courts on machine learning projects. He joined SMU after graduating and was funded to do an LLM at Harvard. His present research focuses on legal NLP, network analytics, and good old fashioned legal questions around AI regulation and liability.
