Quantum Impact Assessment are important practical tools to facilitate responsible quantum technology adoption. In addition, these instruments can lower barriers for startups to develop and use this promising technology. QIA’s can raise awareness about the ELSPI dimensions of quantum technology and assist in mapping IP portfolio’s and achieving legal compliance and regulatory conformity. This section present a prototype of such QIA tools: the Exploratory Quantum Technology Assessment.
