FAQs

IS THERE A REGISTRATION FEE?

The SPILS 20th anniversary celebrations are free to attend, but we require your registration in advance for planning and catering purposes. Should your plans change after you have registered, please let us know.

CAN I BRING MY FAMILY?

Due to our limited budget, we can only accommodate one additional person per SPILS alum at our Saturday reunion dinner and other catered meals.  But you are most welcome to bring your family and significant others to the opening session on Friday and round table discussions on Saturday.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

Alumni Relations recommends this list of hotels, but please note we are not part of the “Stanford Alumni Group Block”.

For other local hotels and accommodations, please visit Stanford University’s Lodging Guide.

WHERE CAN I FIND INFORMATION ABOUT GETTING TO AND AROUND CAMPUS?

Stanford University’s Plan Your Visit page and searchable campus map provide directions to reach campus and can help you locate specific buildings.

For specific directions to the law school, visit the SLS Contacts and Map page.

WHERE CAN I PARK ONCE I AM ON CAMPUS?

The nearest parking to the Law School is the underground garage Parking Structure 6 (PS-6), located at Campus Drive and Wilbur Way, below Wilbur Field. Parking is free after 4 PM and on weekends.

Disabled parking is available in all campus parking lots throughout the weekend, including Parking Structure 6 and Tressider Memorial Union (located on Mayfield Avenue). Disabled person permits from all states are valid in all marked spaces on campus.

HOW DO I SEE IF MY CLASSMATES ARE ATTENDING?

Visit our Registration page starting in August for a list of alumni who are registered to attend Alumni Weekend. Please note that because of privacy preferences, the list may not reflect all registrants.

HOW ARE THE SPILS ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS CONNECTED TO THE SLS ALUMNI WEEKEND (OCT 22-25)?

The annual Alumni Weekend will be held the weekend after the SPILS anniversary celebrations, and is a separate event. For more information about the SLS Alumni Weekend 2015 please visit the Alumni Weekend webpage.

I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION THAT WASN’T ANSWERED HERE. WHO SHOULD I ASK?
