Carol Lam, JD ’85, is a retired Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Qualcomm Inc. She is on the Board of Trustees for Stanford University, chairs its Audit Committee, and serves on the TRACON Pharmaceuticals board. Lam was the United States Attorney for the Southern District of California and a Superior Court judge in San Diego County. She graduated from Yale University and Stanford Law School and served as a law clerk for Judge Irving R. Kaufman on the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Lam is a legal analyst for MSNBC.
